The valve includes a body having five surfaces and a plurality of blind holes, grooves and channels interconnected with the blind holes to form communication net. Two rectangular diaphragms are embedded separately into the grooves so as to selectively open and close the blind holes. An internal sliding base with an external sliding base coupled to the external periphery thereof and comprises a sliding section and an internal press pillar disposed separately on two corresponding ends of the botto...
A valve body (12) has an inlet opening (22) and an outlet opening (24) interconnected by a fluid passageway (28, 30) having a flow aperture (34). The valve comprises a diaphragm (14) (typically of the duckbill type) that is located across the flow aperture (34) and has slits in a collapsible aperture (39). This prevents backflow from the outlet to the inlet. The valve has an actuator (16) in the form of a plunger for influencing the fluid flow. Also disclosed is a pressure release valve whereby ...
A valve includes: a valve casing (1); a valve chamber (4) defined between a fluid inlet (2) and a fluid outlet (3) of the valve casing (1): and a plurality of check valve mechanisms (9) arranged in series within the valve chamber (4), the plurality of check valve mechanisms (9) each including: a valve seat (6) having a valve hole (5) formed therein: and a valve body (8) fixed to a valve shaft (7) and arranged on a fluid outlet (3) side of the valve seat (6), the valve shaft (7) passing through t...
A drain valve to be used with numerous drain applications, such as draining fluid from an engine, includes in an exemplary embodiment a valve body, a first and second o-ring and a valve sleeve. The drain valve eliminates the need for a tool, such as a wrench, to drain the fluid from the engine, for example. The drain valve includes a twist-and-pull valve sleeve feature to manipulate the valve; however, the valve sleeve remains on the drain valve and therefore cannot be lost or misplaced. The val...
There is disclosed a heart valve prosthesis having a configuration such that blood flow through it has a helical flow pattern such as to substantially reduce or eliminate turbulence and dead flow regions in the blood flow.
A valve for fitting to a container, in particular a bottle, in which a pressure has accrued, comprising a valve housing in which at least one valve seat is provided. A valve seat, independent of the bottle pressure is located between a piston and the bottle contents and connected to the piston, whereby the other side of the piston is pressurized by an energy store, the force of which is adjustable.
An apparatus comprises a valve body having a cylindrical bore centered on an axis. A cylindrical core extends axially within the bore and is fixed relative to the valve body. A sleeve within the bore extends circumferentially about the core and is rotatable about the axis relative to the core. A passage extends radially through the sleeve and provides a radial flow path from the core through the passage to the valve body. Alignment of the passage is circumferentially selectable by rotation of th...
Hydraulically or pneumatically controlled seat valve (2), in particular a pressure control valve, having a valve seat (10) formed in a base part (4) which cooperates with the sealing surface of a valve body (8) displaceably disposed in a cover part (6), wherein the base part (4) and the cover part (6) are connected to each other, the base part (4) having an at least sectionally circumferential collar (18) which faces radially outwardly for mounting the seat valve (2) to a further component (60),...
The present invention relates to a valve which includes a housing made from aluminum and a valve seat made from aluminum, for a flap which is mounted such as to rotate on a drive shaft and a peripheral piston seal. The valve seat includes a metallic coating on the surface thereof facing the flap, the layer thickness of which lies in the range from 5 to 30 m and has a temperature resistance in the range from 500 to 800 Celsius. The invention further relates to a use of said valve.
A sliding spool valve (1) is provided for controlling flow of fluid especially between an inlet (2) at a relatively high pressure and an outlet (6) at a relatively low pressure. Wherein the spool valve is reciprocally displaced between open and closed positions by hydraulic action of the transmitted fluid.
