A product and process of removing wrinkles and surface effect blemishes from fabric textile materials such as upholstery, drapery and clothing is disclosed. The product is an alcohol-aqueous solution of a surfactant or surface tension reducing material which is a liquid at room temperature and which will evaporate to dryness in a short time. The surfactant material is preferably a quartenary ammonium compound with a dialkyl dimethyl ammonium chloride compound being most satisfactory. The process...
An anti-wrinkle device is a light-weight, rigid, hollow member ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the area between the breasts of a human female. The hollow member is designed to prevent wrinkles from occurring in the cleavage area when women are lying on their shoulders and/or sides while sleeping. The member is covered with a soft, removable washable fabric. A sleeveless top can be worn to hold the member in place.
A composition containing water, alcohol and a silicone surfactant containing at least one polyether substituent group per molecule is useful in treating wrinkled fabric to reduced the amount of wrinkling.
Wrinkles are cosmetically removed from a superficial area of mammalian skin tissue having an epidermal layer, a basal layer, and a dermal layer, by irradiating the dermal layer through the basal layer, the irradiation being selected to be absorbed by a chromophore in the dermal layer such that collagen present in the dermal layer is heated, while the basal layer remains intact so as to substantially inhibit contact of the dermal layer with ambient air.
An improved bed covering is provided for a mattress on a bedstead, which consists of an apparatus for protecting the mattress and a mechanism for retaining the protecting apparatus to the mattress on the bedstead in a wrinkle free condition. A person resting on the protecting apparatus will be more comfortable.
A wrinkle reducing cream is presented which reduces wrinkles upon topical application to the skin. The main ingredients of the composition include a water and caffeine composition which is mixed together in a first vessel and a glycerin composition heated in a second vessel. The three components of the active ingredient are mixed carefully, making sure that any precipitate produced is remixed into the solution. After heating and mixing the components, the entire composition is cooled with care b...
A registration mechanism for registering a moving receiver sheet relative to a toner image on a moving image bearing member in an electrostatographic reproduction apparatus. The registration mechanism includes members which define a sheet travel path, a registration gate, and a device for feeding the sheet to the registration gate. The registration mechanism also includes sheet deflecting members for deflecting the sheet in a zigzag manner between the sheet feeding device and the registration ga...
The present invention is an "anti-wrinkle" pillow that surpasses the limitations of prior art designs by keeping the delicate facial skin completely away from contact with the pillow and its covering when a person sleeps on his or her side. Instead of manipulating pressure or height, the present invention incorporates a tubular "extension piece" which is placed snugly under the jawbone, thereby providing better support and comfort than prior art pillows and leaving the facial skin completely unt...
A process for imparting wrinkle resistance and smooth drying properties to cellulose textiles by crosslinking the cellulose with a cyclic aliphatic polycarboxylic acid having at least two adjacent carboxyl groups in the trans configuration relative to each other, and the resulting crosslinked textile.
