This invention provides the novel dielectric BiCu.sub.3 Ti.sub.3 FeO.sub.12. BiCu.sub.3 Ti.sub.3 FeO.sub.12 provides good dielectric tunability and low loss over a frequency range of from 10 kHz to 10 MHz and is especially useful in tunable devices such as phase shifters, matching networks, oscillators, filters, resonators, and antennas comprising interdigital and trilayer capacitors, coplanar waveguides and microstrips.

Alloyed nanophenes comprising carbon, boron, and a Group V element other than nitrogen are provided. The alloyed nanophenes are useful, for example, as miniature electronic components, such as wires, coils, schottky barriers, diodes, inductors, memory elements, and other circuit devices and elements.

Hydrogen cyanide is produced by reacting ammonia and a hydrocarbon gas in the presence of a platinum-group-metal catalyst while the catalyst is heated by induction heating at a frequency of 0.5 to 30 MHz.

Fine denier filaments having a high elongation at break of a blend polypropylene and polystyrene are made by forming an intimate blend using a twin screw extruder and then spinning the blend.

Integral structures are formed using a combination of both metal and plastic. These materials are secured together by the unique design of the metal in areas of contact with the plastic. Ribbed structures in which metal is suitably joined with injection molded plastic are also contemplated herein.

This invention provides tunable devices incorporating the dielectric CaCu.sub.3 Ti.sub.4 O.sub.12. CaCu.sub.3 Ti.sub.4 O.sub.12 is especially useful in tunable devices such as phase shifters, matching networks, oscillators, filters, resonators, and antennas comprising interdigital and trilayer capacitors, coplanar waveguides and microstrips.

A process for the treatment of aqueous waste streams having a pH of 5 to 11 and containing organoboron compounds of the formula R.sub.4 B.sup.-1 M.sup.+ with hydrogen peroxide in order to convert such organoboron compounds to boric acid and organic compounds.

A process of producing solid surface material is provided with a thin layer of filled polymer integrally formed with a backing of bubble-filled polymer, without an interface or transition zone in the polymer mix, using two-step wet-on-wet casting.

A thermoplastic shrinkable film consisting of two or more layers, including, at least, (a) a layer of a polyolefin, (b) a layer of a blend of a polyolefin and an ionomer is disclosed. Optionally, the film contains (c) a further layer of a polyolefin, in which case layer (b) is positioned between layers (a) and (c). Films according to this invention demonstrate omnidirectional tearability, good clarity and strength and are cost competitive with other films on the market.

The present invention relates to various embodiments for a flushing system for an ink jet printer, wherein a flushing fluid source provides a flushing fluid to a manifold wherein the flushing fluid is introduced into the printer’s lines, and capping device as well as past the print heads, wherein residual ink is reduced or removed.
